Born in Rome 1969
After taking the qualification as Animation Technician and graduating in Arts applied on Cinematography at the Cinematography’s State Institute "R. Rossellini" of Rome, I stopped to occupy myself with animation for a while in order to deepen my mastery in comix’s language and in illustration attending the courses of the Academy for Fine Arts of Rome.

Since 1990 I’ve started collaborating with some Animation Studios in Rome working as animator, but the most remarkable was the collaboration with “Studio Doppio” of Alessandro Panzetti where I have had the chance to look after the projects for the italian music TV channel ”Videomusic”.

In 1993 I was hired by a company “Frame by Frame” in order to attend to the development of their animation department. For two years I’ve been animating opening theme for TV programs, TV commercials and interactive games.

In 1994 I founded Musicartoon with my brother.
From that moment I have attended to the conception of projects being involved in their direction, scriptwriting and supervising of animation.

In 1996 I have directed the teaser of "Gibì & Doppiaw" who became a series hired and co-produced by RAI, For the series I've been involved as director and supervisor of the animation.
In 1997 my company received the MEDIA financing for the short film “Up Town”, which attended at many international festivals and was awarded as best film at the first Dervio film festival.

From 1998 to 2000 I’ve been working on developing pilots and projects as a director for all Musicartoon productions: the fantasy “The Company of Gallows” on the comics saga by Magnus, with the soundtrack of Angelo Branduardi and above all I‘ve directed the animated three series "The adventures of Hocus and Lotus" that has today become a 52 episodes series translated in 5 different languages.

In 2000 I worked as a layout artist in the feature film “Johan Padan”, by Giulio Gingoli, based on Dario Fo's theatrical drama.

In 2003 the 2nd series of "The adventures of Hocus and Lotus" received a special mention for the direction at “Cartoons on the bay festival”.
In 2005-2006 I have directed the pilot and the series of “Antonio e la banda dei giardinetti” a Rai production.
In 2007 I have directed the animation of the pilot of “Candy Circle”, a RAI-Gertie co-production, directed by Enzo D’alò, in the same year the third series of "The adventures of Hocus and Lotus" won the award “ for Lifelong Learning” delivered by the “European Commission” in Berlin.

In 2008 I’m working as author, director and scriptwriter for the development of the animated series named “Marfy of dreams”, received the Media support for the development, the activation from RAI.

In 2009 I wrote the script for the pilot of another new series that Musicartoon is developing “Gagà in the Space”, this project has also received the Media support for the development, and has been at Cartoon Forum 2009, gaining a remarkable success.
In 2010 I've been involved as artistic director in the realization of “Giovanni e Paolo e il mistero dei pupi” a Larcadarte 26 minuts-film coproduced with RAI and Regione Sicilia. And I have directed the pilot produced by Luxvide - RAI Fiction “The Extraordinary adventures of Jules Verne”

In 2011 I have directed the two pilots produced by DeAgostini : “Magiki” and “Egyxos”.

In 2012 I have directed the TV series “The Extraordinary adventures of Jules Verne” a Luxvide-RAI Fiction – Musicartoon Coproduction and I've been involved as artistic director in the realization of “La missione di TrePi” a Larcadarte 26 minuts-film coproduced with RAI.

Between 2015 and 2016 I worked as a director to some Lynx Multimedia Factory series Pilots, including "Cricky & Fril" and "Cooking Time!". I made the animated insert for the feature film" Monolith", a production of Sky Italia, Lock & Valentine, Sergio Bonelli Editore.

From 1989 to 1997 I made some art exhibitions with my illustrations works and comics works in Rome.

From 1994 to 2012 I was responsible for the course in animation and direction applied on animation at the International School of Comics, with reference to this activity in 2001 e and 2003 the shortfilms “Wilde Guernica” and “Tobia” won the European Award Massimo Troisi, and "Rubino" in 2002 as Best Animation Film.
